We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether our advertising works, we use two things.
A piece of code on our pages that tells Meta when someone views a page, starts a checkout, or completes a purchase. It also sends a hashed identifier so Meta can match the activity to an account if the person has one.
When you complete a purchase, our systems send Meta a record of that purchase directly from our server. This includes a hashed version of your email address - hashed means it is converted into an irreversible string before it is sent, not sent in readable form - together with the value of the purchase.
Meta uses this to report on our advertising and to improve the targeting of ads generally. Meta is an independent controller for what it does with this data. You can review and control this in your Facebook or Instagram settings under "Off-Facebook activity" / "Your activity off Meta technologies".
If you do not want this to happen, decline non-essential cookies when the banner appears, and use Meta's own controls for the server-side data.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.

Some of these providers are in the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard, as provided in each provider's data processing terms.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising - which, in California's definition, includes the Meta measurement described in section 4.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. In Slovenia this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblascenec), www.ip-rs.si.

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date, and email you if the change is material.
